CHÂTEAU DE CHOLLY

Château de Choully Premier Cru : our reserve wines

A gem of the architecture of Louis XV, the Château de Choully is a Patritian residence built between 1723 and 1725 by Syndic Michel Lullin of Châteauvieux. There is an 8,4 hectare vineyard attached to this prestigious Château. This land adheres to the very strict criteria of the Canton of Geneva in order to obtain the classification of “Premier Cru.” The vineyard, at an altitude of 400 to 480 metres, has an ideal sun exposition to the south/south-west. The soil is shallow on a limestone base, which confers to our wines mineral and warm characteristics.

Production of these grand crus is limited: only 2000 bottles of red and 2000 of white are available per year, allowing these exceptional wines a limited and exclusive nature.

Since its debut, the Château de Choully 1er Cru has been prized in wine tasting competitions.
